Conference:

SCONA 70 is tentatively titled "World in Flames: Guiding Americans Through a New Era of Conflict" and will be themed around American policy towards different conflicts across the world. Delegates will arrive the morning of February 13, check-in, and attend an orientation session where the Conference schedule, facilitators, and expectations for deliverables will be introduced. They will continue on to their first breakout session with their Round Table. Following this session they will be provided lunch. There will be periodic breakout sessions during the day for recalibration for the delegates to continue operating at optimal efficiency. They will also attend two keynote speakers within the day, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. These keynote speakers will have served at high levels of government organizations/private industries, and will be able to provide insight and inspiration to the delegates on current world topics. The second day, February 14, will begin with a Roundtable session, followed by the final keynote speaker before being served lunch. On the final day of the conference, delegates will have a short morning session to finalize their deliverables (a novel policy proposal and a policy presentation), and submit their final copies to be judged. All delegates will convene in the afternoon for the judging of both papers and presentations of all Round Tables. It will be organized in a bracket style tournament, with the winner of the concentration selected to move to the final round. A facilitator meet-and-greet session will also be hosted around said time, before the conference is wrapped up and moved to the final banquet phase. Winners will be announced at the banquet, which is held the evening of February 15, ending the Conference.
