Help lay the foundation for a riparian (streamside) restoration and native plant demonstration garden at Castroville Regional Park. Volunteers will assist with building paths, installing fencing, spreading mulch, and preparing soils to support healthy native plant growth. This workday focuses on preparing the site for long-term restoration success. This project is part of the implementation of the Medina River Below Diversion Lake Watershed Protection Plan.

Join community volunteers in taking action to protect the water quality of the Medina River, strengthen streamside habitat, and reduce erosion through hands-on restoration work.

Funding for this event is provided in part by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board as part of a Clean Water Act Section 319(h) grant provided from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
