Freshman Leaders in Christ (FLiC) is a Christian-based leadership organization at Texas A&M University focused on building faith, character, and community amongst first-year students. FLiC aims to aid freshmen who are growing in their relationship with Jesus and developing leadership skills that prepare them to be leaders in the church and their communities through Bible study, fellowship, and service in our community. BP stands for Big Project. Big Project is a mission trip that FLiC as a whole goes on once a semester. Our goal with this is to be mission minded and reach communities outside of Bryan/College Station, this is a time we are setting aside to go outside of a place where we normally do life and serve in a community outside of our own. Our goal is to reach as many people as we can with the light of Christ, and we are willing and ready to serve in any way the Lord calls us! Money is needed for travel costs, as well as paying for food and any supplies we may need for our BP trip. Therefore, we are requesting funds to travel on our BP trip this semester so that FLiC can serve others and spread the gospel to as many people as we can. This fundraising has allowed us to serve with organizations such as Beloved and Beyond in Rosebud, Texas, Partners for People in Austin, the Source of Hope in Dallas, and hopefully with your contribution many more places to come.
