This 8-hour course can be used to prepare individuals for licensing with the Texas Department of Agriculture in the Landscape Maintenance (Ornamental & Turf) category. This category includes control of insects, diseases, unwanted plants, and other organisms affecting ornamental plants and turf grasses. This exam-prep course will prepare individuals for the General Standards and Landscape Maintenance (Ornamental and Turf) exams. The $170-course fee includes the required category training manual (AES-5066), the General manual (AES-5073), and the Laws and Regulations manual (AES-5056) and instruction from experienced Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service trainer, Dr. Mark A. Matocha.

The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has contracted with PSI Services (PSI) to administer exams for agricultural pesticide applicator licensing. This is the same vendor that administers exams for structural pest control licensing. Complete an application for either a Commercial Applicator (PA-401) or a Noncommercial Pesticide Applicator (PA-400N) and submit the license fee to TDA. Cancellation/Refund Policy

If a cancellation or refund becomes necessary, please submit a Cancellation or Refund Request. Cancellations received no later than October 5, 2022, will be issued a $145 refund. If study materials have already been shipped, a $45 refund will be issued. Transfer of class is available at no additional charge for the first transfer. Additional transfers will cost the full amount of the training registration fee.
