PUFFIn Workshop, February 10 - 13, 2026

This 3.5-day workshop provides hands-on training in dosimetry measurements and computer simulation of dose distribution in medical products using PUFFIn software. Participants will explore how radiation type, energy, and product or packaging design affect dose distribution; compare results across cobalt-60 gamma, electron beam, and X-ray irradiation; and identify optimal dosimetry locations based on maximum and minimum dose ratios.

I hereby authorize the National Nuclear Security Administration/U.S. Department of Energy (NNSA/DOE) and Texas A&M University (TAMU) permission to use my likeness in a photograph in any and all of its publications, including but not limited to all NNSA/DOE and TAMU printed and digital online publications. I understand and agree that any photograph using my likeness will become the property of NNSA/DOE and will not be returned.

I acknowledge that since my participation with NNSA/DOE is voluntary, I will receive no financial compensation. I hereby irrevocably authorize NNSA/DOE to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute any photos in which I appear for purposes of publicizing NNSA/DOE’s programs or for any other related, lawful purpose. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve of the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of any photograph in which I appear. I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge NNSA/DOE from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on the behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
