How the Competition Works

Students can register individually and be placed on a team, or they can register individually and make and indicate your team members. (Teams can be from 3-4 individuals). Everyone must register.

At the kickoff event, teams will receive the retailing challenge for the competition. Over the following weeks, you’ll gather and analyze data, develop innovative ideas, and prepare your presentation. Teams will have an opportunity to meet with an advisor to refine their strategy.

On the final day, you’ll present your ideas to a panel of judges from 7-Eleven competing against other teams. The judges will select the winners later that day, with prizes and recognition to be awarded.

For students pursuing a Professional Distinction in Retailing, full participation in this competition will provide 100 points in the experience category and winners will receive an additional 25 points.
