ASSC Teacher Summer BootCamp 2022. This hands-on professional development opportunity is available with continuing education credit. The Continuing Professional Education hours available for each week is 35 hours with an additional 15 hours available. Speak to an Aggie STEM director for more information about additional hours.

Week 1

The focus is Python and learning to build and develop robotics instruction. This unique camp provides teachers, who are teaching coding and/or robotics with the unique skills to both develop meaning learning projects that will push student learning forward and to enhance their own coding skills that will simplify how they grade and develop coding experiences for their students. Teacher Boot Camp will be residential from Sunday through Friday utilizing Texas A&M University’s world-class faculty and facilities. All meals, housing and transportation while on campus will be provided by Aggie STEM.

Week 2

The focus for week 2 is engagement in STEM Project Based Learning activities to design models incorporating grade-level TEKS and content which can be directly enacted in their classrooms. Learning will be focused on integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Teacher Boot Camp will be residential from Sunday through Friday utilizing Texas A&M University’s world-class faculty and facilities. All meals, housing and transportation while on campus will be provided by Aggie STEM
