What is the Ergo Center?

Through cutting edge research, the Texas A&M Ergo Center strives to improve worker safety and health for its industry and health care partners. The Center engages in extensive literature reviews, develops experimental designs, performs product validations and carries out pilot studies that foster the success of health and safety professionals.

The Center educates current and future health and safety professionals by providing experience outside the classroom and by providing professional development and continuing education courses. The Center provides expertise to partners who require highly-technical and experienced health and safety professionals to solve complex problems.

Additionally, the Ergo Center provides safety and ergonomic assessments; process development, implementation and evaluation; develops and applies ergonomic designs and interventions; assesses actual and prototypical workplaces using human modeling systems; and can provide experienced and professional expert witnesses.
